The plain-language rules for using Careevio.

1. What Careevio is

Careevio provides deterministic, rule-based career tools - including CV ATS X-Ray, Application Tracker, and Interview Prep. These tools are meant to help you identify avoidable CV issues, track applications, and prepare for interviews. They do not use AI, and nothing about them constitutes professional, legal, or career-coaching advice.

2. No guaranteed outcomes

Careevio does not guarantee that using any tool will result in an interview, job offer, or any other outcome. Scores, checks, and suggestions reflect deterministic rules only and may not match every employer's actual applicant tracking system.

3. Free and paid access

Core features are free to use. Careevio Pro is an optional, one-time payment (not a recurring subscription) that unlocks additional depth in the existing tools. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; Careevio does not store your card details. Pro access can be restored on another device using the email used at checkout.

4. Refunds

If you're not satisfied with Careevio Pro, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we'll consider refund requests on a reasonable, case-by-case basis.

5. Your content

Any CV you upload is processed only to generate your report and is not stored on Careevio's servers. Application Tracker and Interview Prep entries are saved in your own browser, or - if you choose to sign in - synced to your Careevio account so you can access them across devices. You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of any content you enter.

6. Accounts

Creating an account is always optional and free. Sign-in uses a one-time emailed link rather than a password. You're responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since that email is what protects your Careevio account.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Careevio - for example, by attempting to disrupt the service, access another user's data, or upload unlawful content.

8. Availability and changes

Careevio is provided "as is." We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service, and features may change, be added, or be removed over time as the product evolves.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Careevio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, including job-search outcomes.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Careevio after a change means you accept the updated terms.
